Book Club: Living Room Revolution with Author Cecile Andrews

Announcing a “phone conversation” book club on: Living Room Revolution: A Handbook for Conversation, Community, and the Common Good.

A message from the host, author Cecile Andrews:

"We all want to make a difference and one of the most exciting ways is to get people talking! Conversation has always generated good friendships and social change and “conversation circles” are one of the best things you can do for the well being of people and the planet.

We’ll be limiting the group to 8 people so that everyone gets to talk. We will go for 4 weeks, and afterwards, you can start your own group! Plus, it’a a short book!

You’ll not only learn an essential approach to social change; you’ll also have a stimulating, congenial time talking with kindred spirits.

To participate or learn more, email cecile@cecileandrews.com (We’ll work out the time, but it will most likely be around 6 on the West coast.)

The heart of happiness is joining with others in good talk and laughter. Each person can make a difference, and it can all start in your own living room!"

Cecile Andrews is a former community college administrator with her doctorate in education from Stanford University. She is a community educator, forming conversation circles on the subjects of “Community Building” and “The Making of an Elder Culture.” She is the author of Circle of Simplicity, Slow is Beautiful, Less is More, and the recentLiving Room Revolution: A Handbook for Conversation, Community, and the Common Good.
