Trathen Heckmanm is the founding executive director of Daily Acts Organization, publisher of Ripples, an award-winning journal and a backyard farmer. He is the former executive director and a board member of Green Sangha Organization.

Joanna shares her current thinking on the spiral of the Work That Reconnects (gratitude, honoring our pain, seeing with new eyes, and going forth) and how it motivates and sustains people's activism at this historical moment.
