Dishgamu Humboldt: Using Solidarity Economy Principles to Re-Indigenize

Dishgamu Humboldt is an Indigenous-led Community Land Trust to us Solidarity Economy principles to buy land, build cooperative housing, grow and distribute food, and support  worker-owned businesses. The land itself will be “owned” by (really returned to stewardship of) the Wiyot Tribe.  Improvements/buildings will be owned by cooperative entities that enter into long-term leases with the Wiyot.
